The
history of ACE FOUNDRY
ACE FOUNDRY was born in 1951 as a permanent mold casting foundry making aluminum lawn mower bases and cooking griddles. In 1983, the company changed hands and became ACE Pattern & Foundry of Kansas Inc.. In 1987, sand casting was begun in a second location. In 1988, the sand foundry was automated and a B & P 2016 automatic molding machine was added, making it the only automatic aluminum sand foundry in the area. In 1995, all production was moved into the new plant and in 1996, the office was also relocated to the new plant. In January 1997, the new plant suffered a total loss fire and the operation moved back into the old plant during the rebuilding of the new plant. Permanent molding was back in production within 6 weeks of the fire, but the automatic sand system took 2 years to resume production. The

Today ACE FOUNDRY is a full service state of the art aluminum foundry
offering both permanent molding as well as automatic sand casting.
Large air-set casting capabilities also exist. Also, ACE FOUNDRY
provides in-house heat-treating, machine shop services and assembly.
Mold and pattern making, powder coating, polishing and other surface
finishing and special packaging are available. Because of diverse
capabilities we can look at your job from different options to
recommend the most cost efficient production method, and there are no
middle man costs involved.The
